Today, I saw a monacrh butterfly on the ground near my house foundation. It was a female, and it was in the shade trying to fly. So, I let her crawl up unto my hand, and then I let her absorb the 63F. sunny day. Finally, she flew off up about 20' and headed south. I also let my last reared monarch go at 2 PM, a female that I put my own handmade tag on. Hope she makes it to Mexico!
