Only one 2nd instar cat in my milkweed (common) very few monarchs seen out and about, lots of milkweed though.

Well Dan it looks like thousands of monarchs could be pouring into the Lincoln, Nebraska area around
Sept. 8 - 16. Thousands were seen near Norfolk, Nebraska on Aug. 28:
