I'm in Herndon. They have been laying here. I'm seeing new females almost every day.
At Waystation #22 (Meadowlark Botanical Gardens, Vienna, Virginia) I found eggs last Sunday. I do butterfly walks there every Sunday at 3 PM until the end of August (weather permitting). I'll have some caterpillars and pupa to show folks this Sunday.

I was helping with a butterfly count in Waterford/Leesburg, Virginia area today. We were out from 9 AM to about 4 PM. Monarch numbers weren't great, but they were there. We did see a few caterpillars, too.
