Thanksgiving

Postby Pixie » Thu Nov 27, 2008 11:26 am

A very happy Thanksgiving to all members of the Monarch Watch Forum. I am thankful for all the information, advice, and helpful hints from forum members throughout this past monarch season. For those of you in some parts of the country who still have monarchs flying about, be thankful. For the rest of us, let's pray for a successful breeding season in 2009.
Love to all,
Dottie (Pixie)

I've been thinking about the 15 Monarchs that I sent via Express Mail to Virginia Beach on 11/4. I hope they love their warmer surroundings and that they will be able to winter over and add to the population next year. Monarchs are incredible creatures.

A Belated Thanksgiving Thank You, Pixie

I also am grateful for all the good things I learn here! And for everyone who participates, as well.

I still have some flying in my garden and cats, too! But it's starting to get a little colder, and last year they started to get less healthy in this kind of weather. A few tough ones will make it though, because we are blessed with them year 'round. I look forward to the spring anyway, and hope as well that the Monarchs do well in 2009.
