Day of the Dead at Harbourfront

Postby John Beaulieu » Tue Nov 06, 2007 7:12 pm

Having seen mention of it on the D-plex list, we went down to the Day of the Dead celebration/displays at the Harbourfront Centre (last weekend) on the waterfront in downtown Toronto. It was a good display of Mexican culture, Mexican food, Mexican crafts, etc. The Mexican band was fantastic and they had the dance floor packed during their playing times. There was not too much tie in with the monarchs, but we did meet another Monarch Teacher Network member while there. We would do it again, if it becomes an annual event.
