Faded Monarch Momma Found Dead

I was moving my little red flyer wagon that I use in the garden today and found her just laying there in the wagon with her wings spread flat out.

She had been floating around my yard for about 2 weeks laying eggs. Her wings were faded and tattered, but she kept going. I could not believe that she was still here. I hadn't seen her for a few days.

Some of her offspring are pupae now.

I took her inside and put her into a baggie and put here in the freezer. I want to keep this one.
