TAG RECOVERY DATA BASE

I've been checking the data base and it shows no recoverys at all for 2005. I know some were posted awhile back. Am I doing something wrong? I'm looking for the ones released last year, 2005.

We haven't yet posted any. We had hoped to have them posted this past weekend but ran into a snag. The recoveries from Mexico should be up by the end of this week and all of them from this past tagging season will be up by the end of the month.

If you do a search of the Tag Recovery Database at

www.monarchwatch.org/tagmig/recoveries.htm

you can see that there are 867 tags recovered in 2006 so far. This represents the bulk of new tag recovery data, but we do still have some records to add. Many of the tags currently have incomplete records due to the fact that the tagger has not turned in the corresponding datasheets.

Also note that only 175 of those tags were applied in 2005; the rest date back to 2001 (or are currently unknown).
