search option

This may already be in place somewhere on this site and I just haven't found it: is there a search feature? For instance, I know that on one thread there was a lot of information on collecting eggs, removing them from the leaves, sterilizing them, and reference to a solution which Monarch Watch uses to do so. I want to get some of this concentrate but I cannot find the thread again. Since this is a recurring problem I've begun cut'n'pasting comments into a Word document which I can then organize somewhat. But if there's a method already in use here, I'd like to know about it. And since a relevant comment may be buried in a post about another specific topic, it isn't going to even show up on the subject line. Any suggestions?
